Reassure residents and their families
Most of the time, the first falls do not have serious consequences, especially when the treatment is early, which then makes it more effective.
In the event of a fall, the alert is given immediately on the DECT. The ISA system records 2 minutes before and after the fall. Thanks to these images, the healthcare team will understand how it happened. The workers will then be able to personalize the care of the person, but also to make adjustments and limit the risks of another fall.
In the event of a fall, the time spent on the ground is significantly reduced
The flexibility of the system allows monitoring to be tailored to suit needs. Lightweight and hyper-connected, 3D sensors can be placed and moved to ensure the best possible solution.
Motion tracking algorithms allow sensors to analyze patient behavior. In the event of a fall, the nursing staff are notified in real time to reduce the intervention time to a strict minimum (between 2 and 4 minutes on average).
By identifying the causes of the first falls for a person, we reduce the risk of subsequent falls.
Did you know that 2/3 of falls are not reported, or are not completely or sufficiently documented?
ISA helps ensure that the statements are comprehensive to understand the causes of falls better. By analyzing the large amount of data collected, it is possible to understand the causes of falls better and possible interventions.
For example, by repositioning walking aids, helping people to use them better, in particular by improving transfers, adapting risky furniture, or adapting the bars or the height of the bed, etc.
The quality of life of our elderly is improved
A well-identified cause will also make it possible to implement solutions that are not necessarily expensive or complex, but which will significantly improve the quality of people’s lives.
If the fall is due to a problem with muscle strength or balance, the physiotherapist will intervene specifically with regard to the analysis of the fall.
Did the resident fall while sitting in a wheelchair? The ergotherapist will teach the patient the proper way to manage transfers.
In short, the information provided by ISA makes it possible to make the right decisions for the well-being of individuals, caregivers, and the entire institution.
Everyone's privacy is fully respected
The issue of privacy, both for individuals and for the healthcare team, is particularly important to us. We did an exhaustive analysis of the privacy issue with a specialized law firm.
The sensors do not make it possible to identify anyone and only the data necessary for the proper maintenance of the register of falls are kept.
The ISA system is not there to monitor everyone’s work, it is part of a quality process. This approach must take into account the analysis of errors, without stigmatizing people.
