Use of Cookies

Types of Cookies used by MintT

MintT installs and uses several types of cookies: (i) certain functional cookies which are required for technical reasons to ensure that the Website and some of its functions work well and (ii) other non-functional cookies such as those that improve your browsing experience on the Website by recording certain data – thereby ensuring that you avoid inputting such data every time you visit the Website – and by adapting the Website’s content to your preferences. This category also includes cookies that obtain statistics on the usage of the Website and also those that present promotional offers that might be of interest to you.

Functional cookies do not require your prior consent. As for non-functional cookies, they require your consent to be installed and used.

Third-party Cookies

MintT uses analytical cookies to gather general information about how users browse the Website (for example, the pages that they visit most frequently). These cookies do not collect data which allows us to identify the users. All of the information collected via such cookies is only used to understand and improve the Website’s functionality. MintT uses the tool Google Analytics®, an analytical service supplied by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”). The information regarding your usage of the Website that is generated by Google Analytics is generally transmitted to and kept on a Google server in the United States. The code “gat_anonymiselp();” has, however, been added to Google Analytics on the Website to ensure that IP addresses are recorded anonymously, a process which is known as “IP Masking”. The anonymisation of the IP address by Google on the Website truncates your IP address throughout the European Union and the European Economic Area. The complete IP address will be sent to the Google server in the US only in these exceptional circumstances and will be truncated upon arrival. Google will use this information for the MintT account in order to analyse your usage of the Website, compile reports on the Website’s activity and provide MintT with other services relating to the Website and internet usage. The IP address transferred by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other Google data. You can prevent the data which is generated and recorded by the cookie concerning your usage of the Website (including your IP address) from being transferred to Google. You can prevent Google from processing it by downloading and installing the plug-in available at the address Additional information on the general conditions of use and Google Analytics’ privacy protection policy are available at and

Google Analytics’ cookies enable MintT to understand user behaviour (in an anonymous manner). These cookies allow MintT to measure the success of its Website pages and improve the browsing experience.

Links to third-party websites and sharing via social media

The Website can contain hypertext links to other websites which are not subject to this privacy policy. MintT recommends that you check the privacy policies that apply to these other websites. MintT cannot accept any responsibility with regard to these websites’ personal data and privacy practices and encourages you to examine the privacy policies of each of these websites before disclosing your personal data.

Moreover, the Website affords you the possibility to share content (via share buttons) on the following social media networks: Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn (the “Social Networks”).

The content that is shared in this way is accompanied by comments that are compiled by MintT but can be personalised. MintT has deliberately decided not to use direct integration plug-ins for social media on its Website. The technical solution that has been chosen enables you to decide if and when you wish to share data with the Social Network operators. As a result, no single piece of data is automatically transferred to a Social Network when you visit the Website. Your browser will only connect you to the Social Network servers if you actively click on one of the share buttons. When information from the Website is shared with the Social Networks, the content is exported from the MintT servers and uploaded to the websites of the various Social Networks. The shared content, as published on the Social Networks and the usage thereof, are governed by the Social Networks’ general conditions of use and privacy policies. MintT invites you to actively consult these general conditions of use and privacy policies. MintT cannot accept any responsibility for the content that is exported to the Social Networks, nor for the use that is made of it.
