Bed exit detection

Fall prevention for greater independence

Bed exit detection

Improving the quality of care also means improving the quality of life of people at risk of falling, improving working conditions for care teams, and reassuring families about the safety of their loved ones.

Getting out of bed can carry serious fall risks. Even when some patients aren't able to get up on their own, they sometimes still try. By using our fall-detection system, we're able to improve our patients' quality of life while strengthening safety and giving their families peace of mind. Indeed, by being alerted when an at-risk patient attempts to get up, nursing staff can act preventively by reaching the patient in time to help them up.

Our fall sensors are equipped with motion-tracking algorithms that detect fall risks within their field of view. When a fall is detected, an alert is automatically sent to caregiving staff in real time, enabling rapid intervention and preventing a fall from happening. It's a support for older adults' independent living.
