Fewer falls thanks to bed exit detection
Quality of care and better ageing are at the heart of Mintts values and the fall detection and prevention system we developed. Discover how bed exit detection can improve our seniors' quality of life and give them more autonomy.
Bed exit detection - Fall prevention for a greater sense of independence
Increasing the quality of care also means strengthening the quality of life of people at risk of falling, improving the working conditions for healthcare professionals, and reassuring families about their loved ones’ safety.
Getting out of bed can cause serious risks of falls, and even if some patients may not be able to get out of bed on their own, they still risk doing so. By using our innovative and effective fall detection system, we can improve the quality of life of our patients while increasing safety and providing peace of mind to their families. Indeed, by being alerted when an at-risk patient is trying to get out of bed, the nursing staff can act preventingly by getting to the patient in time to help them stand up.
Our fall sensors are equipped with motion-tracking algorithms that detect the risk of a fall in the field of vision. When a fall is detected, an alert is automatically sent to caregivers in real-time, allowing for quick intervention and preventing a fall from occurring. It is an aid to independent living for older adults.
