The nursing home Les Buissonnets in Saint-Vaast, from the Jolimont group, is satisfied with Mintts solution, to the extent that they are willing to extend the installation of the sensors to all their other healthcare facilities. La Nouvelle Gazette covered the great news.

The quality of care has increased

"Before the installation of this system, our nurses were called on an average of 60 times a day, only to find that in most cases they were false alarms. This phenomenon not only causes extra work but also weariness. The danger of missing a real accident is all the greater. This is human. Mintt’s system is finely tuned to make the perfect difference between a normal, usual movement and a fall. Here, the error rate is less than 1%," explains Vincent Denamur, director of Les Buissonnets.

"My main concern was that the technology would make the human being less important in our nursing home," notes Vincent Denamur. "I see that the opposite is true. The nursing staff are less stressed, less tired and therefore more available for seniors who need a lot of attention. The quality of care has also increased, since the reasons for a fall, its causes and consequences are more accurately assessed" - Vincent Denamur."
